This blog was set up as a requirement for the digital photography class I took in 2009 at St. Louis Community College. The blog is linked to a photo storage site where the class assignments were posted. I immediately liked having a blog and started posting. I have taken film classes and posted some papers I wrote about films. In 2013 the web site Digital Media Journey was built. I have lately been taking art history classes. Photo-editing Class 2013 – Pictorialism Project
I started with this image I took in Phoenix, Arizona. The instructor wanted the lamp post removed. It was quite a job rebuilding the porch, especially the spindles that were behind the post. The front porch was too dark.
