The vertical posters go on bulletin boards and it's not that difficult to make them stand out from the typical posters made on a word processor.
Last semester five posters were in a grouping at the desk where Dvd's and other media is checked out. The posters are read by students standing in lin to check out items.
The horizontal format ones will be shown on a monitor screen in the Library, along with other school related announcements seem to be undergoing an endless series of changes.
Last semester I watched students walk by the monitor and rarely does anyone look at it, especially when it hangs from the ceiling and is about 10 feet above the floor. It's like a lot of minor changes for a low yield item.
I wanted to make them bold and simple to attract some attention.
